Luxury Design… But Make It Mobile
Hey hey Roomies!
Okay… today we’re taking design out of the house and onto the road—because great design doesn’t stop at your front door. It shows up in the spaces you move through, sit in, and experience every day.
And yes… today that space just happens to be Cadillac of Las Vegas
While I was getting a little service done on the V, I had the chance to explore some of Cadillac’s newest electric vehicles—and let me tell you… this wasn’t just a car moment.
It was a design moment.

Design Is Everywhere (Even in Your Car)
Roomies, if you’ve been with me for a while, you already know—design is not just about homes.
It’s about:
how something feels
how it functions
how details come together
and how it elevates your everyday experience
And stepping into these vehicles? It felt like stepping into a well-designed space.
The Lineup: Optiq, Lyriq V & Escalade IQ
Let’s talk about what I got to play with (because yes… I was absolutely touching everything 👀):
Cadillac Optiq
Lyriq V
Escalade IQ
Each one had its own personality—but what stood out across all of them was intentional design.
We’re talking:
clean lines
thoughtful storage
luxe finishes
and that feeling of comfort the second you sit down
It’s giving… elevated lifestyle.
Contrast, Texture & That “Ooooh” Factor
Now let’s bring it back to what I always talk about:
contrast, color, and texture.
Because the same design principles we use in a home?
They showed up right here.
Soft materials paired with sleek finishes
Bold elements balanced with neutral tones
Statement details that don’t overwhelm the space
Luxury isn’t loud.
It’s intentional.
And Cadillac understood the assignment.
Function Meets Beauty (The Roma Way)
Here’s what I loved most:
These vehicles weren’t just beautiful—they were smart.
storage that makes sense
layouts that feel natural
comfort that actually supports you
Sound familiar?
Because this is exactly how I approach designing a home.
If it doesn’t function, it doesn’t matter how pretty it is.
And these vehicles? They did both.
A Full-Circle Moment
Now let me get a little soft with you for a second…
Cadillac isn’t just a brand to me.
It’s memory.
It’s legacy.
It’s family.
I grew up with Cadillac being part of my world—my grandmother’s Cadillac, the feeling of riding in something that felt special, that felt elevated.
So being here, walking through these vehicles, seeing how far design has come…
It felt like a full-circle moment.
And those are the moments I live for.
What This Means for Your Home
You might be thinking…
“Roma, what does this have to do with my house?”
Everything.
Because design is about:
how you experience a space
how it supports your life
how it makes you feel
Whether it’s your living room or your car, the goal is the same:
Create something that feels elevated, intentional, and uniquely you.
Final Thoughts, Roomies
This was such a fun little adventure—and a reminder that inspiration is everywhere if you’re paying attention.
So next time you step into a new space—whether it’s a home, a car, or even a coffee shop—ask yourself:
What feels good?
What works?
What would I bring into my own space?
Because that’s where design really starts.
